  1. After therapy, women are followed every three months with a careful general physical examination, pelvic examination and Pap smear.
  2. ‚Ä¢ A chest x-ray or an abdominal or pelvic CT scan may be obtained if symptoms warrant.
  3. ‚Ä¢ If the serum AFP was elevated before therapy, it can be followed to detect recurrent disease.
